Do you sell both new and used BYD vehicles?

Yes. New units are factory-fresh for bulk export across 157 listed trims. We also hold 477 used BYD vehicles in stock — Qin PLUS EV 117, Han EV 105, Tang EV 77, Seal 74, Seal U 60, Sealion 6 22, Song PLUS EV 14 and Sealion 7 8 — model years 2018 to 2026. Every used unit is sold at its own FOB price, with its real mileage, registration date and actual photos published.

Which countries can you export to?

We export to 15 markets: Brazil, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Kenya, Nigeria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Thailand, the Philippines and Kazakhstan. Every market page lists its import duty, VAT, steering requirement and used-vehicle age limit.

What is the minimum order quantity for a new BYD export order?

5 units per model for new BYD bulk export — the same 5-unit MOQ applies across all 157 trims we list. Used vehicles are sold as individual units at their own listed FOB price, with no minimum.

How long does production and sea freight take?

Production and allocation take 30 days from confirmed deposit to container loading, and all units load at Shenzhen Yantian Port. Sea transit runs 12-20 days to Thailand and the Philippines, 18-28 days to Egypt and Saudi Arabia, 20-30 days to Pakistan, 25-40 days to Brazil and the UAE, 30-42 days to South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria, 35-48 days to Kazakhstan by sea or rail, and 38-50 days to Mexico, Chile, Colombia and Peru — plus destination customs clearance.

What warranty do new BYD vehicles carry?

Every new unit we list carries a 6 year / 150,000 km vehicle warranty and an 8 year / 150,000 km Blade Battery warranty, as stated on each vehicle page.

How is the landed cost calculated?

Landed cost = FOB vehicle price + sea freight + marine insurance + destination duty + destination VAT + port clearance. Duty is charged on the CIF value (FOB + freight + insurance), and VAT on CIF + duty. Worked example on a 2026 BYD Da Tang quoted at $33,319 FOB: CIF is $35,136, so Brazil adds 35% duty of $12,298 plus 17% VAT of $8,064 plus $650 clearance, giving a landed cost of $56,148. The identical unit lands in South Africa at $51,158, on 25% duty and 15% VAT.

How much import duty and VAT will I pay?

It depends on the market. Brazil 35% duty + 17% VAT; South Africa 25% + 15%; Nigeria 35% + 7.5%; Kenya 25% + 16%; Mexico 20% + 16%; Chile 6% + 19%; Kazakhstan 15% + 12%; the UAE 5% + 5%; Saudi Arabia 5% + 15%. Fully electric vehicles are far lower in several markets: Colombia 0% + 5%, Peru 0% + 18%, Thailand 0% + 7%, the Philippines 0% + 12%, Egypt 15% + 14%, Pakistan 10% + 18%. Duty is charged on the CIF value and VAT on CIF + duty.

Can I import a used BYD into my country?

It depends on the market. Kenya caps used imports at 8 years from first registration, Nigeria bans passenger vehicles over 12 years, and Peru allows up to 5 years. South Africa requires an ITAC import permit and normally restricts used passenger cars to categories such as inheritance or returning residents. Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Egypt, Thailand and the Philippines effectively prohibit commercial import of used passenger vehicles. The UAE and Saudi Arabia permit used imports without a strict federal age limit. Each market page states the rule before you order.

Do you supply right-hand drive vehicles?

New units can be configured left-hand drive or right-hand drive, confirmed per order. All 477 used units in stock are left-hand drive. South Africa, Kenya, Pakistan and Thailand require right-hand drive; the other 11 markets we serve require left-hand drive.

What export documents do I receive?

New units ship with the Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin, commercial invoice, packing list and export licence where required. Used units ship with the original Vehicle Registration Certificate, purchase invoice, export customs declaration and Bill of Lading. Documents are prepared for your destination's left-hand-drive or right-hand-drive registration.

How do I place an order?

Message us on WhatsApp with the model, sale type (new or used) and destination country. Every quote is FOB Shenzhen Yantian Port. For used units we take a 30% bank transfer deposit to lock the specific car, with the 70% balance due before container loading; a letter of credit is accepted for larger orders.
