Under the Philippine EVIDA law (Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act), fully electric vehicles qualify for 0% import duty; 12% VAT applies on customs value plus duty. Rates shown are indicative only based on publicly available general schedules — always confirm current duty, VAT and any EV incentives with a licensed customs broker in-country before ordering.
Used-Vehicle Import Rules
The Philippines generally prohibits import of used motor vehicles for commercial resale except under narrow government-authorized exemptions — confirm eligibility before ordering used units.
EV Incentives
The EVIDA law provides 0% tariff on imported EVs and EV components for a defined incentive period, plus registration and franchise-tax incentives at the national level.
