The $15,000-$25,000-FOB tier — Qin PLUS EV, Seal U, Sealion 6, and e6 — is where most volume export orders land, offering full-size sedan or SUV bodies with genuine long range at a price still well below premium EV competitors. Above $25,000 FOB, the Seal, Sealion 7, Han EV, Shark, and Tang EV represent BYD's premium and specialty tier — flagship sedans, a coupe-styled SUV, a 7-seat SUV, and the PHEV pickup — aimed at buyers prioritizing range, seating capacity, or drivetrain flexibility over minimum price.

Why the ranking matters for export orders

Buyers planning a mixed-model container order should factor MOQ alongside price when building an order, since a container mixing Seagull and Tang EV units, for example, needs to clear both models' individual MOQ thresholds.

All 12 models carry the same manufacturer warranty: 6 years or 150,000 km on the vehicle and 8 years or 150,000 km on the Blade Battery, and all are available in left-hand-drive and right-hand-drive builds. Landed cost for any model is the FOB price plus a fixed $1,450 freight allowance, insurance at 1.1% of FOB, destination import duty on CIF value, destination VAT on CIF plus duty, and a fixed $650 clearance fee — we calculate the exact total for your destination country on request.
